Commercial Removals UK
Not everyone considers using removal companies when
making the decision to relocate a business. However, it is a more
cost-efficient option than doing it yourself.
Hamilton's commercial removal services can minimize
the disruption to your staff and clients and get your organisation
back to work sooner.
Hamiltons can get involved with as little or as much
of your business relocation move as you wish. As well as simply
turn up on the removal day to move your items and effects to your
new premises, we can offer the following services which can be tailored
to suit your business’ needs:
- Short or long term storage
- The supply of crates
- Archiving
- Dismantling and reassembling of flat pack office
furniture
- Relocation of IT equipment
- Moving of heavy plant machinery & vehicles
- Out of office hours moving (overnight moves)
We can also arrange to have either your new or old
premises professionally cleaned.
To assess your company's needs one of Hamilton's
advisors and the key personnel in your organisation would need to
hold a planning meeting. This is crucial and is the first part in
any business move. The aim is to discuss issues like access to the
existing site as well as the new premises you will be moving to,
parking facilities, if lifts are available, what equipment is required
and the type of service you require, i.e. will we be packing or
will you etc.
Detailed floor plans will need to be made so
the items can be packed and labeled correctly and this ensures that
everyone involved in the move, both your employees and our Corporate
Relocation personnel, know exactly what is happening.
Our Removal teams use a coloured label system
to ensure everything is moved to the correct floor - a colour identifies
which floor the items should be moved to. The labels also have as
series of boxes, one of these indicate the position in the room
and the others ensure that the unpacking team relocates everything
to its correct place, even down to every crate/carton placed and
unpacked on the corresponding shelf.
Our advisor when undertaking his site survey
would have made notes on areas where damage could occur. The removal
crew would be fully informed on this and have the necessary protection
equipment to prevent damage to both the items being moved and the
building interiors.
Normally a business move would be carried out
as follows:
- A Hamilton's Corporate Relocation professional
visits your business to survey your old and new premises and provide
an estimate for the move.
- Floor plans are then made and a "move
plan" is developed.
- Packing materials and the crates required
are delivered to your facility and packing commences.
- Once packing has been completed the actual
move would start, how long the moves takes depends on the size
of your organisation but this will have already been discussed
with you at the planning meeting.
- Any crates /packing materials will be collected
once unpacking has been completed or, if undertaking this yourselves,
once you have informed our office that they are no longer required.
